We are Building the Future of Joint Preservation

A medtech company focused on orthopaedic innovation to treat osteoarthritis.

revomotion develops implant technologies for earlier intervention in advanced stages.

Starting with the knee, the goal is to build a platform around Articulage for future use in the hip, shoulder, and spine.

What makes us unique

We combine material innovation, implant design, and application-specific development on a single, focused platform.

Rather than adapting conventional rigid implant concepts, the company is pursuing a material-led orthopaedic approach from the ground up.

Mission

Our mission is to promote less invasive orthopaedic treatments by developing technologies that preserve joint function. Our ambition is to enable more natural movement and restore dignity and independence to patients in pain.

Scientific and Clinical Development Network

revomotion's technology has evolved within an interdisciplinary development environment spanning biomechanics, translational research, materials science, and clinical practice. Earlier project contexts in combination with be innovative GmbH and within the collaborative projects TOKMIS and MioHIP, include*:

  • the Clinic for Orthopaedics, Accident and Reconstructive Surgery RWTH Aachen University Hospital
  • the Konrad Zuse Center for Information Technology Berlin
  • the Institute for Biomechanics and Orthopaedics German Sport University Cologne
  • the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology Oberhausen
  • the ARCUS Sports Clinic Pforzheim
  • the Reutlingen Research Institute for New Materials and Biosystems
  • the Biomechanics and Implant Technology Research Laboratory Department of Orthopaedics, Rostock University Medical Center
  • the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart

References to institutions reflect the technology's development background only and do not imply ongoing endorsement, sponsorship, or regulatory validation.

A Deep-Tech Approach to Orthopaedics

Ojonic originated from the conviction that patients with severe osteoarthritis may benefit from additional treatment options before joint replacement. Over a number of years, foundational work included prototype development, dedicated testing capabilities, and the build-out of the underlying material and patent base. The programme has advanced through persistence, technical iteration, and a long-term commitment to translational development. The company is now preparing for the next stage of clinical and regulatory progress.
